Here are the facts. The textiles sector is responsible for 5-10% of all greenhouse gas emissions and for over 20% of global water pollution. And unfortunately, the countries where we manufacture our products are the ones that will be hit hardest by climate change, through drought, floods and food scarcity.

It’s clear we need to do more for the future of our planet.

That’s why we’re committing to improving our community’s environment, reducing our environmental impact, and helping the Gymshark family do better, too.

• Achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ for GSIQ and retail store

Reduce our environmental impact

• Committed to set a Science Based Target, guided by the SBTi
• Committed to offset all retrospective Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions created by Gymshark by end of FY22
• Joined WRAP’s Textiles 2030 initiative
• Localised distribution networks by opening DCs in USA and Australia, reducing need to fly product from Europe

• We have full waste recycling and segregation on all three sites to help minimise any waste sent to landfill.
• We have an employee cycle-to-work scheme to help reduce car travel
